The Night Elves are the first and oldest race of World of Warcraft. They strived to learn magic and eventually let it loose upon the world as well as calling forth the Burning Legion. In their war with the Burning Legion, they were victorious, but at the cost of their homeland. After the war they became, once again, interested in the world and what was to become of it. Allying themselves with others, despite their mistrust of other races, they hope to secure the survival of Azeroth.
